DC21 Acid, an Effective All-in-One Surfactant
DC21 Acid(CAS:1469983-44-5/53980-88-4) is a reaction product of fatty acids and acrylic acid, appearing as a brown-yellow liquid in its industrial form. It combining the dual advantages of long-chain fatty acids and acrylic acid, its unique molecular structure endows it with exceptional surface activity, emulsion stability, enhanced solubility, hard water compatibility, lubrication, and rust prevention properties. Mainly used as a surfactant, it is applied in various fields including inks, resins, coagulants, coatings, lubricants, plasticizers, preservatives, synthetic coolants, household detergents, and equipment cleaning agents.
DC21 Acid Performance Characteristics
Emulsification
As a highly efficient amphiphilic surfactant, DC21 Acid enhances the surface activity of products at extremely low dosages. It simultaneously improves solubilization, emulsion stabilization, detergency, and wetting properties while increasing the cloud point of formulations. This makes it suitable for diverse industrial processing requirements.
Lubrication Performance
DC21 Acid exhibits outstanding lubrication performance, particularly in aluminum forming and processing. Its long-chain molecular structure provides excellent chemical stability and flexibility, enabling adaptability to complex operational conditions compared to short-chain organic compounds. Additionally, its low viscosity and low foaming characteristics ensure efficient and stable lubrication processes. For instance, through reducing the dosage of nonionic emulsifiers while increasing DC21 Acid content can achieve effective foam reduction, further enhancing lubrication performance.
Corrosion Inhibition &Environmental Protection
DC21 Acid features a bifunctional structure capable of forming a protective film to inhibit corrosion reactions. Widely applied throughout the entire oilfield development process, it serves key stages including exploration, cementing, well completion, oil production, pipeline transportation, and refining. Compared to traditional boron-containing corrosion inhibitors, this product maintains excellent corrosion inhibition performance while featuring a boron-free formulation and biodegradable properties, significantly reducing environmental damage.
